OUR TEAM - JACOB SCHOTT

Meet Jacob
Office Manager
Dedicated to people-centered work, Jacob supports Beacon's operations and its team of attorneys committed to advancing social justice and protecting civil rights. He brings a diverse professional background spanning nonprofit administration and the arts. Most recently, he served as Office Manager at a nonprofit organization providing psychoeducational testing for children and families, work that deepened his belief in the importance of accessible, equitable support for those who need it most. That same sense of purpose drew him to Beacon and its mission of fighting discrimination and holding accountable those who abuse their power.
Jacob holds a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from West Texas A&M University, where he served as the Graduate Trumpet Assistant and performed with the WT Faculty Brass Quintet. Originally from Denver, he recently made the move to Portland and is loving the city. When he's not at the office, you'll find him hanging out with his wife and two dogs, listening to music, or on a disc golf course.
