Izzy focuses on employment discrimination and retaliation cases at Beacon Employment Law, bringing a deep passion for civil rights and a commitment to assisting people on their journey to justice. Originally from Zionsville, Indiana, Izzy has embraced the West Coast lifestyle and is excited to call Portland home.

Izzy helps clients navigate workplace discrimination and retaliation matters, using the law as a tool to empower those facing workplace injustices. Izzy's diverse legal experience spans multiple areas of civil rights and public interest law. From analyzing civil rights claims as a David Schuman Legal Justice Fellow at the Oregon Justice Resource Center to conducting client intakes and drafting legal complaints at multiple employment law firms, Izzy has developed a strong foundation in advocating for those seeking justice. Their experience also includes environmental law work with Earthjustice and criminal defense support with both HFC Law and the Metropolitan Public Defender. Throughout law school, Izzy was a proud member of the National Lawyers Guild and OUTLaws organizations, demonstrating their dedication to advocacy and civil rights.

When not practicing law, Izzy thoroughly enjoys the West Coast weather and scenery that Oregon offers. They are excited to explore all that Portland has to offer, including participating in queer soccer leagues and discovering the region's incredible hiking opportunities.
